I've been trying to post for the last several days but my computer is not playing nice. Thanks to my sister I can show a pic of two candle holders I painted. If you look closely you can see he has caught his nose on fire. These were painted with acrylics. The third picture is a snowflake I tatted with Yarnplayer's HDT Rose color. I love her hand dyed threads. The pattern is Jon's Quantiesque Snowflake. I would link to it but I haven't learned how to do that yet. My sister has her hands full with trying to teach me how to do this blogging thing. Thanks for stopping by.

Your snowmen are so cute!!
I have never been able to figure out how to add links to my posting. Good luck. :)

OH Becky those candle sticks are so cute. You do some of the cutest paintings. I think I might have to use that pic in a wall hanging.
Your tatting is perfect as always. I know you can't help being so perticular about things, as it was drilled into us as kids. I still hear daddy saying if you're gonna do something, do it right and I still remember you making me take the knobs off the stove every night and cleaning behind them,LOL.
I've been practicing my tatting. I still have problems getting all my picots the same size. I do okay if I keep them all small, but sometimes I don't want small, so guess I'll just have to practice, practice, practice.
I'll tell you how to add a link. When you are writing a new post, there is a little green icon thingy up in the tool bar part of the box. First you highlight any word in your post that you want to make a link to, and then click the little green icon thingy. Another small box opens up and lets you paste a URL for that site. That's it, so when you publish your post the word you highlighted should work as a link.
The snowmen are cute, cute! I had to laugh though. It reminded me of I love Lucy...she had a rubber nose on and lit a cigarette and caught her nose on fire..just like the snowmen.
The colors of the tatted snowflake are just wonderful, so rich. Your work is perfect.
I had to laugh at the stove knobs! I still remind my son to take them off when he wipes the stove.
Oh, look at that very pretty quantiesque snowflake! It looks so nice in the HDT by Yarnplayer. Your snowment are darling! You are so talented. :)
Welcome to blogland. Be careful it can be addicting. I added your link to my blog roll. :0)

Tatting is one of my passions. Painting is the other. I don't have room to set up painting very often though. Lovely work on both!
