Here is an oil painting that is one of my sister's favorites. She's been wanting me to post it. So here it is. This was painted at a Robert Warren seminar. Most of my oils are done at his studio. He's an excellent teacher and has his own method he teaches that makes shading and highlighting much easier to achieve. This is his design also. I wish this was my house but we painted this from a photo.
I also want to thank everyone for stopping by and leaving me such nice comments. I'm still trying to learn how to do certain things and eventually hope to make my blog page look as nice as some of the others I've seen.
I'm also working on tatting Jon's Quantiesque Snowflake and I will post a pic once it's completed.

I just want to spread a quilt out under the tree and sew for the afternoon. The great thing about the picture are the bushes around the porch. They show age by size with the bare trunks showing. Don't we all wish we lived there!
Now that's my kinda house! I love the trim, and that porch is so inviting! What a great place to be doing something you love!
I'd love to go and tat on a comfortable chair on the beautiful porch! LOL!
What a lovely painting!
I love all your paintings but this one and the Train are some of my favorites. Well, the one in my header is just outstanding too, and the Peony, boats, turtles and dolphins. Your acrylics are all just as pretty.
Becky, I keep checking in...can't wait to see more of your paintings and tatting. I understand you also make all your own cards and would love to see some of them.
