Lady and a Bird

I'm trying to get a couple of things tatted quickly. I'm attending a retreat with my sister next week and they expect me to have some things to show. The problem is I've given everything away. I just finished the little bird this morning. This is a design from Inga Madsen tatted in size 80. This was also the first time that there wasn't a written pattern but had to be tatted from a diagram I've ever done. I think I did ok. The crinoline lady is a Pam Palmer pattern tatted in size 20. I love these ladies. I hope I can find more patterns for these. I'm not confident enough yet to create my own.

OMG! It's just beautiful. Love the red. You already know how much I love the lady. I have 4 of your tatted pieces ready to take to the retreat. I'm getting so excited and sad at the same time. Excited to see you and sad because it won't be for long. I have to keep telling myself I'll see you again in July. I've been so busy today finishing up some last things. I can hardly wait to see you, it has been far too long.

I know the crinoline lady will not be going home with you after the retreat...You have a sister that just fell in love her not long ago!

Have fun ladies! Take lots of photos so I can see all that you did.

Hi! I got your message on my blog! I looked up "Split chain tatting" on You Tube and only came up with some Split RIng vids. To answer your question; I don't think there's a split chain vid out there. You could google it, but you'll probably get the same results.

Happy Mom's Day Becky! I know you stepped in to be Mom & sister when you needed too. That's a very special thing and we can see how close it made you & Donna.

So, enjoy your day and I just LOVE the red bird and card. Cards are so special to me! Thank you
